Publix Super Markets Charities is proud to welcome families into new homes funded by our 2015 donation of $4 million to more than 80 Habitat for Humanity affiliates.

Publix Store Managers Mike Fuller and Sheryl Black visited the Girl Scouts of Southern Alabama to present them with Publix Charities’ check for $5,000.

Publix Super Markets Charities was recently named Corporate Partner of the Year by the Big Brothers Big Sisters Association of Florida. The award was presented during the organization’s annual conference.

Publix District Manager James Mowery recently visited McWane Science Center in Birmingham, AL to deliver Publix Charities’ donation.

Kate Bauer-Jones, President and CEO of United Way of the Florida Keys, was recently presented with Publix Charities’ donation of $75,900.

Todd Blease, Store Manager of Publix #571 in Hobe Sound, FL, recently visited the Boys and Girls Club of Martin County to present them with Publix Charities’ donation.

Publix Media and Community Relations Manager Brian West visited the Girl Scouts of West Central Florida Leadership Center in Tampa recently to present them with Publix Charities’ donation of $41,000.

Publix District Manager David Fulmer delivered Publix Charities’ $17,500 donation to the YMCA of Middle Tennessee to sponsor the Y’s annual race series.

Scout programs help build skills and nurture friendships.

Publix Super Markets Charities sponsored the building of a complete home for Habitat for Humanity of Walton County in Florida. Recently, Publix Super Markets associates helped to build that home.

Eric Dewey, President and CEO of United Way of Metropolitan Nashville, recently visited a Publix store and was presented with Publix Charities’ donation of $223,300.

Publix Super Markets Charities sponsored the building of a complete home for Habitat for Humanity of South Palm Beach County in Florida. Recently, Publix Super Markets associates helped to build that home.

Publix managers visited the offices of the Wiregrass United Way in Dothan, Alabama to present them with Publix Charities donation of $139,900, a matching gift to Publix Super Markets associates’ 2015 pledge to this United Way.

In 2015, Publix Super Markets Charities announced a donation of $4 million to more than 80 Habitat for Humanity affiliates across the Southeast. Now, we’re excited to share the progress as 40 new homes funded by this donation are built.
