Publix Super Markets Charities sponsored the building of a complete home for Habitat for Humanity of Walton County in Florida. Recently, Publix Super Markets associates helped to build that home.

Eric Dewey, President and CEO of United Way of Metropolitan Nashville, recently visited a Publix store and was presented with Publix Charities’ donation of $223,300.

Publix managers visited the offices of the Wiregrass United Way in Dothan, Alabama to present them with Publix Charities donation of $139,900, a matching gift to Publix Super Markets associates’ 2015 pledge to this United Way.

Publix Super Markets Charities sponsored the building of a complete home for Habitat for Humanity of Okaloosa County in Ft. Walton Beach, Florida. Recently, Publix Super Markets associates helped to build that home.

In 2015, Publix Super Markets Charities announced a donation of $4 million to more than 80 Habitat for Humanity affiliates across the Southeast. Now, we’re excited to share the progress as 40 new homes funded by this donation are built.

Publix managers visited the offices of River Region United Way in Montgomery, Alabama to present them with Publix Charities’ donation of $127,500, a matching gift to Publix Super Markets associates’ 2015 pledge to this United Way.

Publix managers visited the offices of the United Way of Indian River County in Vero Beach, FL to present them with Publix Charities’ donation of $221,800.

Publix managers visited the offices of United Way of Santa Rosa County in Milton, Florida, to present them with Publix Charities’ donation of $74,000.

Publix managers visited the offices of United Way of Escambia County in Pensacola, Florida to present them with Publix Charities’ donation of $130,000.

Publix Super Markets Charities recently announced a $25.3 million donation to local United Ways throughout the Southeast. United Way of the Chattahoochee Valley in Columbus, Georgia was presented with a portion of this contribution, a donation of $169,000.

Patty Youngblood, president of the United Way of West Georgia, visited a Publix store and was presented with Publix Charities’ gift of $26,100 to her organization by Publix District Manager Randy Burt and Assistant Store Manager Wayne Woodring.

Each year, Publix associates pledge to United Way, largely through payroll deductions. In 2015 associates pledged $33.4 million. Publix Super Markets Charities will provide an additional $25.3 million for a total of $58.7 million.
