Publix managers were on hand as Habitat for Humanity of Gaston County held a groundbreaking ceremony for a home sponsored by Publix Charities.

Publix District Manager Paul Daniels recently visited Junior Achievement of Georgia’s Discovery Center in Atlanta to present them with Publix Charities’ donation toward their Finance Park.

Habitat for Humanity North Central Georgia recently held a kickoff ceremony for a home-build partially funded by Publix Charities.

Each year, Publix associates pledge to United Way, largely through payroll deductions. In 2016, associates pledged $35.5 million. Publix Super Markets Charities will provide an additional $26.5 million for a total of $62 million.

Publix Store Manager Jason Yurkovitch and members of his management team recently delivered Publix Charities’ $10,000 donation to this Habitat for Humanity affiliate.
