Publix Super Markets supports the YMCA of South Florida
Publix Super Markets Community Relations Manager Robyn Hankerson-Printemps and Publix managers Giovanni Dima, Jessica Rodriguez, Gina Kelly, and Jamie Laviolette recently visited the L.A. Lee YMCA/Mizell Community Center in Fort Lauderdale, FL. They delivered Publix Charities’ $50,000 donation, which was part of a $250,000 commitment. YMCA of South Florida’s President & CEO Sheryl Woods, Senior Vice President of Community Health & Advancement Gabe Ochoa, and Associate Vice President of Special Events Aimee Fretwell were on hand to accept the donation.
Located in the Historic Sistrunk community, the L.A. Lee YMCA/Mizell Community Center is a full-service health and wellness facility offering weight training, yoga, youth sports, summer camp, academic support, and more. The Y helps to foster community involvement one healthy family at a time.
