Publix Charities recently donated $10,000 to Heartland Food Bank in Sebring, Florida. This donation was part of a $5 million gift to multiple organizations focused on alleviating childhood hunger. Publix District Manager Edd Dean, Store Manager Michael Prichard, and Assistant Store Manager Jason Ottinger presented the check to Heartland staff.
Heartland Food Bank provides quality food to financially disadvantaged residents of Highlands County through a network of certified member agencies.
