Publix Assistant Store Manager Shyala Ford, Customer Service Staff Tawana Harding, and Seafood Specialist Amy Jo Peavy recently visited Middle Georgia Community Food Bank in Macon, Georgia, to present Publix Charities’ $65,000 donation. Middle Georgia Community Food Bank President Kathy McCollum was on hand to accept the check.

This donation will support their Backpack and Senior Brown Bag programs, which provide nutritious food to students and seniors who face food insecurity.

Publix Charities is proud to support Middle Georgia’s mission to help our neighbors thrive by providing equitable access to nutritious food.
