Publix Charities supports Meals on Wheels of Sarasota

Publix Regional Director Patrick Helm and District Manager Mackenzie Mast recently visited Meals on Wheels in Sarasota, Florida, to present Publix Charities’ $10,000 donation. Meals on Wheels of Sarasota’s Executive Director Rhonda Leiberick and Development Coordinator Kate Ayres were on hand to accept the check.

The organization’s home-delivered meal program helps reduce isolation and malnutrition. Clients receive a heart-healthy meal and a wellness check from volunteers, which helps to improve their overall health and well-being.
