Publix Charities supports Junior Achievement of North Florida

Publix Regional Director Steve Walker and District Manager Bryan Sanders recently visited Junior Achievement of North Florida to present Publix Charities’ $10,000 sponsorship for the organization’s Stock Market Challenge. Junior Achievement President Shannon Italia was on hand to accept the check.

Junior Achievement’s programs help students develop a strong understanding of basic money concepts so they can achieve financial literacy. Through the Stock Market Challenge, students discover the risks and rewards of both long-term investing and trading.
