Publix Charities supports the Edna W. Runner Education Center

Publix District Manager Lillian Cook and Publix Store Managers Creggy Jean Bart and Christine Lambiase recently visited the Edna W. Runner Education Center in Jupiter, Florida, to present Publix Charities’ $62,000 donation. The center’s executive director, Travis Conway, and assistant executive director, Anna Poulin, were on hand to accept the check. This donation was part of a special grant process to assist select nonprofit organizations with one-time needs.
The Edna W. Runner Education Center offers programs for both children and seniors in the West Jupiter community, including aftercare, tutoring, arts and crafts, gardening, music, wellness, and summer/spring break camps. This donation will help the center to repave their parking lot, install new signage, purchase new office and classroom furniture, and refurbish landscaping on the campus.
Publix Charities is proud to support the center’s mission to provide a safe and nurturing environment for at-risk students and their families so they may pursue academic and personal excellence.
