Recently, Development Director Mitzi Oxford of Valley Rescue Mission accepted a check for $20,000 from Publix Charities on behalf of her organization.
Valley Rescue Mission of Columbus, Georgia serves more than 157,000 meals to the hungry and homeless each year. They also host annual Thanksgiving and Christmas dinners that have fed thousands of people in need. Publix Charities’ donation will help this organization provide even more nourishment and hope for those in the community.
